These customers contacted me after they had completed a large addition and remodeling project near Olympia High School. Their new addition had created a rather awkward and sterile courtyard and they wanted advice on how to make the space warm and welcoming. I suggested they plant some simple but dramatic plants along the walkway, add a small café table to the left, and mount either a large wall fountain or decorative piece on the back wall. They also needed large red containers to provide color and hide the utility boxes on the right.
